Wilsonville Lanes in Wilsonville, Oregon has officially and permanently shuttered its doors due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic. Due to financial complications, the center, which had been open for 28 years, was forced to close. The owner posted a message on Facebook yesterday below:
The owner said he will focus on saving enough money to keep his other bowling center, Mount Hood Lanes in Gresham, Oregon, open.
While this bowling center may not be in the Northeast, it has become somewhat of a virtual guarantee that more centers are to follow. The question remains, which ones? For now, everyone should continue practicing safe social distancing in order to get control of this terrible outbreak. More to come.
